OUR BELIEFS
We here at JWS ministries believe the following:
1. We believe in the inspiration of the Bible we believe in the Bible and that it is the holy and verbally inspired word of God. ( II Timothy 3:16-17)
2. We believe in the Trinity, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, three and one. God is supreme in his person, perfect, and eternal being, an absolute in his attributes. (Ephesians 4:3-6, John 1:1-3)
3. We believe in the virgin birth and that the Lord Jesus Christ is the second person of the Godhead. We believe in his deity and sinless life and his death on the cross, as well as his bodily resurrection. (Matthew 1:18-25, 1 Peter 3:18, 1 Thessalonians 4:16)
4. We believe that the Holy Spirit has convicting power and possesses all the attributes of the deity. (John 14:16-17, Romans 8:9)
5. We believe that man was created by God in his image and that by choice man fell into sin therefore bringing death upon every living human being, constituting condemnation and judgment. (Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:23, Revelation 20:12)
6. We believe that the only way to salvation is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ by grace only and not by works. (John 3:16 Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 16:31)
7. We believed in the organized, local New Testament church and that it is a visible body of believers exercising its doctrines and ordinances according to the fundamentals of the Bible. (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 2:41)
8. We believe in a literal Heaven and a literal eternal burning Hell, a punishment for all unbelievers. We also believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and unsaved and the great white throne judgment. (John 5:28, Matthew 25:46, Revelation 20:14, Revelation 21:4)
9. We believe in a literal devil and demons who is alive and well working on this Earth to draw people away from the only way to the father which is Jesus Christ (John 14:6 IM the way the truth and the life no one cometh to the father except by me.)
